In less than two months, the Institute for a Competitive Workforce (ICW) will release the third edition in the Leaders and Laggards report card series with a focus on public postsecondary education. The report provides a state-by-state analysis on how public higher education is performing in the following areas:

• Return on investment
• Transparency
• Innovation

Earlier this year, ICW announced a grant opportunity for chambers of commerce and business-related organizations who were interested in hosting activities that aim to advance public policy in higher education and inform the community on how our education systems are performing.
After reviewing over 30 proposals, ICW is excited to announce the recipients of the grants:

• Association of Washington Business Institute
• Indiana Chamber of Commerce
• Minnesota Chamber of Commerce
• Sarasota Chamber of Commerce
• Texas Association of Business
