The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today endorsed the first-ever review of the quality of teacher preparation provided by more than 1,100 institutions in the United States, a project of the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ). The report, which will be distributed by U.S. News & World Report in early spring 2013, will highlight the country’s most effective curriculums and use those as models for other programs to improve.
